Position Description:

Provide office services by implementing administrative systems, and procedures. Monitors administrative projects for faculty and staff in the assigned academic area.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Expected to keep abreast of current software needs and other office functional needs and to attend training sessions as necessary

  • Supply administrative support for programs in Marketing and Supply Chain

  • Set up meetings and colloquia for the area and for individual faculty as needed; supply refreshments when requested

  • Manage the area budget reports, P-cards, and purchase order processes as directed by the Area Coordinator

  • Supervise student employees

  • Manage the Marketing and Supply Chain office and all the daily functions, including, but not limited to, copies for the faculty, telephones, mail, and responding to emails

  • Assists in processing travel documents for faculty, staff, and students

  • Responsible for ordering keys, textbooks, office supplies, and maintaining the office copier

  • Responsible for collecting various forms completed by faculty members and delivering these to the correct person/department

  • Responds appropriately to inquiries, regarding the area of Marketing and Supply Chain, from the Dean's Office; provides information as requested
