Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon - Thur 7:30am - 5:30pm Fri 7:30-11:30am
Summary of Position
To ensure the development of student life on campus including cultural, academic-supportive and entertainment events: oversees the student activities area: nurture development of student leaders through campus clubs and organizations.
Minimum Required Education
High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree from a US nationally or regional accredited institution preferred.
Minimum Required Experience
Four years wage earning clerical experience. or certification / successful completion of relevant trade school and one year wage earning clerical experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and experience in organizing student activities preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and schedule activities and workshops for groups. Experience working with college students. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with people – students, faculty, administration. Ability to function independently and make routine decisions as required. Work hours: M-Th 7:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m., F 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., and some evenings and weekends depending on scheduled events.
