To provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Assistant Director. To develop as a Human Resources leader and hospitality professional.
Conduct pre-screening of line position applicants.
Completes reference checks on those applicants whom the hotel has identified as potential employees.
Make appointments with department heads and candidates for interviews.
Assist with processing of new hire paperwork.
Maintain job requisition and associates logs:
New Hire Log
Promotion Transfer Log
Applicant Flow Log Book
Ensure all P.I.F.s have the appropriate signature for processing
Maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment.
File and maintain files.
Answer phones and phone inquiries.
Type memos and other correspondence.
Surface all managerial/hourly reviews, with appropriate forms to appropriate manager at least one month in advance of actual review date. Track and monitor timely completion.
Participate in the Hotel Orientation Program.
Keep HR Director and Manager informed of all employment matters.
Keep all communication boards current, presentable, and up-to-date.
Assist HR Manager with all managerial and hourly reviews, with appropriate forms to appropraite manager at least one month in advance of actual review date. Track and monitor timely completion.

Maintain Applicant Flow Log
Complete all LID contracts and explore development opportunities in HR and in other departments
Gain insight about and fully understand hotel operation
Assist with planning and execution of all associate eents
Hotel Specific Essential Functions:
Tools & Equipment
Computer and printer, typewriter, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine,file folders, filing cabinet, facsimile machine
Working Environment: Interior of hotel, in normal office conditions.
Bachelor degree, required
Previous HR experience or exposure, preferred
Must be able to relocate after completion of 1 year development program
Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality
Interest in moving into Management position, required
