Provide administrative support for voice, network, cable, security system, and video services for both ITS and the UT System Office of Telecommunications.
Enter various types of work order in MySoft for new service, moves, adds and changes from customer-supplied information. Communicate with the customer to determine exact needs. Monitor and review steps for completed orders. Review completed orders for changes and enter corrections in MySoft. Provide customer service to internal and external customers in person, via phone, or via email. Provide accurate, courteous, and timely responses to questions and requests. Provide quality control for orders written by other staff members. Review work orders for accuracy before releasing the orders to be worked. Administer Network Equipment Service Agreements. Provide information to customers and enroll them in our program for maintaining and renewing service contracts. Provide training, backup and assistance to other Business Office staff as needed.
Other related functions as assigned.
Licenses: Class "C" Operator's Driver's License. Applicant selected must provide a current three year Driving Record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within 30 days after entering Texas as a new resident.
High School graduation or GED. Five years of clerical experience. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work collaboratively within a team and also able to work independently with limited supervision. Professional appearance and demeanor. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Bachelor's degree. More than five years of clerical experience. Familiarity with university policy and procedures. Experience with DEFINE. Demonstrated experience providing customer service in a professional environment.

A criminal history background check will be required for finalist(s) under consideration for this position.
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
